power trim solenoid

how is anyone able to reach the back screws of the trim pump to replace the solenoids. or can i cut a hatch in the swim platform to be able to reach it. and also one over the batteries

Depends on your boat.  Mine are in the engine compartment back by the transom.

I sure would not cut a hole in a hatch!
