Great pictures! I've been to Lake Powell - on land that is.  My next trip to AZ, we plan on renting a boat for a day just to get out on the water and see some of those great canyons and amazing colors there.

We used to travel to Utah frequently from Iowa. Love the skiing, Arches, Canyonlands, Lake Powell, Zion, Bryce, Grand Staircase- Escalante. Achingly Beautiful! Always thought it would be a wonderful vacation to rent a houseboat on Powell plus have a sportboat for playing.

Still way down, but raising about a foot a day which is mind blowing.

Wow that's good, and I agree, it's hard fathom how much water it takes to raise a lake that big. I hope it continues.

    Envious rating from 1 - 10.  100 right now.

I am in an office working, and it is beautiful outside. :(

So, what's the temps like down there this time of year? Was down there one year in August and it was practically unbearable! Didn't have a boat though.

My favorite posts are from folks who post pics of their local boating. Thanks for sharing those awesome images.

Lake Powell is on the Utah / Arizona border.  Part of the Colorado river system.

We saw temps down there around 98 in the day and around 70 at night.  Nice!
