I would love to. The 5-6 hour drive verses a 2 hour drive is huge. I can hit the Cleveland show in a day where the Toronto show is an overnight stay.

We're only just over an hour away but stay overnight anyway. There's bars set up everywhere at the show (makes for some interesting purchasing decisions) then we head out after the show for a night on the town and home the next day. And your dollar goes about 30% further Greg.....

Isn't that hardtop sweet? I think it was my favourite in Toronto also. Also don't mind the toffee color but wonder if it'll get hot.

Awesome boat, just wish there was a separate table from the forward birth.

no problem! Yea I am always impressed with what Rinker offers. A hard top, generator and bow truster are nice to have on this 29. Agree that having the dinette up front is not ideal but its the best use of space on a boat this size. My dad was with me and we were both impressed with how large the rear berth was, its pretty big. Also as you can see the outdoor space is very well laid out, again for a 29 it is a great use of space.

I completely agree with you Shawn!  & then for us that have &/or remember the older models, that is $166k for a 270!

Dang!  I'll really date myself and say I remember the first time I got hooked on Rinker.  Back in 2001, my boating friends bought a brand new 2001 310.  Actually, it was a demo they used for the boat shows...price was $102k.  It had all the options (genny, larger fresh water engines).  I thought, whoa!  that is outrageously expensive!

The only thing I didn't like about the 290EX is the round porthole windows. Seems like a lot of manufacturer's are letting light in with more/bigger windows and these look small and keeps it darker in there.
