Snap in carpet & replacement gauges

paigem21paigem21 Member Posts: 2
We just purchased a 2000 Rinker Captiva 232 Bowrider from the second owner. They purchased it from a dealership where the original owner purchased it from brand new. It is a really good thing knowing the history of maintenance & ownership. The boat is in immaculate condition, very well taken care of. Only a couple of the gauges work on & off & a couple of seams on the seats need repair. We would also like to put in the snap in carpet if we could find it for a decent price.
I was wondering where would be a good place to order new gauges & if possible snap in carpet for a decent price?

Thanks for any help

Before you get new gauges you may want to check all the connections to and from them.  Gauges depend on good ground.  So if there is a bad connection or bad ground they can be wonky.

For carpet you may want to find someone local who does marine carpet.  It would be tough to find something pre-cut for a boat that age.

Snapincarpet.com and Corinthian Marine carpet are both good places to look for carpet.

Welcome to the forum!  I agree that snapincarpet is great, especially if you don't have a local place around.  & definitely check gauge connections first, as mentioned.

An option is to look at MarineMat/SeaDek which is not carpet. Carpet is nice but needs more maintenance, can take a while to dry and the backing starts to crumble after a while. I used MarineMat to replace my carpet and love it. http://www.marinemat.net/

It is, you can make your own template and they'll make and send. That's what I did.
