    can anyone help me with the following as due I m re registering my boat to a different registration I need to produce these following photos were which I don't know were to find such items

    1.Hull identification Number (HIN)

    2.Photo of Builder'plates

    3.photo of Engine Serial No    (mercruiser v8 5.7 chevy

    So any one knows were I may or if these identification are marked or plated on such boat

    The HIN is located right above the thru-hull fitting at the rear of the boat in this picture. I am not sure where the builders plate is at, but the Engine serial number should be on the flame arrester cover. There is a metal tag, which I believe is towards the back of the engine.

    the builders plate should be located near the helm. it should have maximum persons and maximum weight ratings on it.
