Water level has been good at my house. Only problem dock is still empty..... Still waiting for a free day and decent day to wax boat. Its killing me right now 70 and sunny and no time to get boat ready.
Yes. You get use to it pretty quick. Now I use it as a weather guide. Judging by the smoke coming off stacks I know what direction wind is blowing and how rough the lake is. Kinda of nice. And its always easy to find my way home. Haha.
You guys do have more to do on st Clair then where I am on erie
Yeah, but you have PIB, Kelly's island, Cedar Point, and Port Clinton!
I spent 10 years on Lake Erie in the 90's and its an awesome lake, but its nothing to mess with on a windy/stormy on Erie. As a kid I once was able to "surf" the waves on Pebble beach (on catawba island) with a throwable PFD. The waves were 6-8' and breaking right on shore.
In Lake O, water level seems about what it was last year. Not sure what is going on, as with all the snow we've had, I thought it would be up. We did have a fairly dry spring though (except for this past Sunday, lol).
Lake Ontario is still down by about a foot from last year. Last year my swim platform was level with the dock. This year I still have to step down about a foot.

I'm sure Michigan is not very often that calm, glad to see you were able to enjoy it.
