Can't check gear oil

Just had Volvo ocean x drives installed on my Fv 360
Problem is the oil dipstick is below the waterline and I cannot check the oil when the boat is in the water
Anybody dealt with this?

    Jim, I have mercury drives, but your drives should have remote oil resevoirs attached to the engines. Lift up your engine hatch in the cockpit and look in the engine bay on the front of the engines. You just keep the drive oil up to the mark on the resevoir. It should be a clear resevoir with a colored cap on it. P.S. post your comment in the "Engine" or "Express Cruisers" sections of the forum and you'll get a faster answer - I think you posted on the "Social" thread? MT
