  Mine does not go directly to the battery....could not tell you where it goes however. I did have issues with it when I first got the boat but only traced wires from the switch to the windlass....

  I have an express 320 2007 and windless is not working.  Will go up but not down. Does anyone know if there is a solenoid I can replace and if so where is it?

  Should be in the dash behind the switch or under the windlass
