Interior fiberglass/gelcoat

I have a 2004 rinker 192 captiva and just recently put in brand new white speakers, after doing so i noticed that the interior gelcoat is like a off-white compared to the speaker almost a yellowish color? the boat is in excellent shape for age.. question is... is this normal where the interiors supposed to be off white or is this from exposure to sun? Im almost lead to believe it was like this from factory because it seems like the entire interior is this color and even.. meaning not more/less yellowish in some areas. do any of you know or realize this on your boat as well? not sure if i should try to buff interior or if thats even appropriate as i am also new to boating. any input is appreciated.

    The color of the gel was an off white in that era boat. Rinker went to bright white in 2006 or 2007.

    I think they called it sand white.

    The fading of color is normal and not much to worry about most boats when you can see the difference when you pull off the seats or speakers(an area protected from the sun)this is the color fron Rinker.

    Original gel could easily be offwhite. But there is an expectation of color change over the years too.  So it could be a little of both.

    My 2003 FV310 started out that off white color but now an even whiter shade. As @reneechris14 mentioned popping something covering it will show the pretty close to original. Even under a cup holder rim.

    Yes. The boat was made with all the same gel color. The parts that are exposed to the sun tend to fade and the parts under the cover do not.
