  Ive bought this two years ago and it’s been working great. Bought a new strainer and gasket at the same time:

  I bought one off the shelf at my local boat place, it's smaller but seems to work okay... have always wondered if it's not good for it. My silver water pump get really hot to the touch...wondering if it's normal or not
