Engine specs

I have searched the posts looking for the engine specs for my old 2000 180....block stamp shows it is a 090 block...but it appears that the bolts are metric meaning it is a 090M.
It is a 4.3 merc that my son ran on the lake without a gas cap...yup, water blew the engine and I am trying to locate a replacement.
