  IAC is 2 beeps every minute. If it is that, you will be hard pressed to dock. I just experienced that this past weekend. Your idle will be very low and more than likely you will stall when going in and out of gear.

  You should be able to look up the fault codes based on your engine and year.  There is a list for some Mercruiser Engines here https://rinkerboats.vanillacommunities.com/discussion/3445/mercruiser-engine-alarms-and-fault-codes-reformatted-as-a-handy-reference

  @Cableguy Greg I just went though the same thing with IAC going and not being home. But my motor idled fine but the beeping made me crazy. Code was IAC replaced now and all good.
