1993 260 Fiesta Vee fuel sensor

I have had the boat for 1year now and I do love it. Fuel gauge works occasionaly so I am pretty sure its the sensor in the fuel tank. Where Is the Fuel tank for this model? Any help would be great

Step in the engine bay. Between the engine and cabin bulkhead, at your feet. Do you see 2 wires going to the tank?

Working occasionally, Can you be more specific? You can test the fuel sending unit with an ohm meter if you have one.
