Easy way to clean snap in carpets

I’ve been trying to decide the best way to clean my Berber snap in carpets from my 270. After reading this idea on another site, I washed the carpets in a 75lb washing machine at the local laundromat. They look really good. I’m drying them in the sun now.  Give it a try. Costs me a total of $10.50.  Easy peasy.

    great idea!  I hit mine with a pressure washer each year and it definitely cleans them right up.  Just don't get it too close or stay in one spot too long.

    When we had snap in carpet we rented the green carpet cleaning machine from the hardware store for a day and would do the house and boat carpets all in one day. Would even take the unit to the boat for a couple hours to do the down below carpet, hand cleaning thing helped a lot with that. Was worth the $40 but now we own a house carpet cleaner that goes to the boat on occasion.
