    Looking for my connector for smartcraft vessel view module. 496 mag **** 2003. 282 rinker. Looked everywhere with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

    If you search smartcraft on here you will find a ton of threads.  So Mercury started to implement after 2002 so the first thing i would recommend is to just verify that the engine is really smartcraft capable.  There is normally a symbol on the spark arrestor cover.  On the 350 Mag the plug was on the rear of the engine.  On my newer (2008 496) it was moved to the front of the engine.  It will likely have a purple or yellow terminator cap on it but will look something like this.  Have to be careful though as there are several plugs that look very similar.
