'05 360 FV - Replacement Pedestal Mount Grill

This is a two parter -
First of all, I have 3 pedestal mounts in my boat - standard cockpit table and 2 on the swim platform. They all use the same poles and tabletops. I have an old grill that was apparently an option on the original Rinkers, but it's more of a pile of rust floating in close formation now.
1. Is there a standard pedestal mount on that era of Rinkers? My poles seem to be straight without taper. What's the official name for it?
2. Are there recommendations with the right mounting part name such that I can get a new grill that will just "work" on an existing pedestal pole without worry that it's 1/4" or 1/2" different in diameter?

Thank you

So, seems that the answer to 1 is Springfield 2 3/8" to 2 1/4" tapered. That much I think I've figured out. Now to find a grill that has such a receiver on the bottom of it.

@echandler1971 , you can always have the post modified by a welder. Have the new top put on the old bottom. You can even customize the height if you have it done.

My boat had the same setup as you describe when I bought it. The grill was a pain because you couldn’t set it down or easily store it on a flat surface due to the pole mount receiver.

I filled the 2.5” hole in the swim platform and replaced the mount with this style, which allows me to store the BBQ without issues.

I’m thinking of taking off the Springfield mount from the old grill and simply welding it or bolting itto a new grill. I don’t care if it won’t sit flat, because the old grill didn’t either.

So, I purchased a Magma Monterey II and drilled/bolted a Springfield tapered receiver I got off the old grill. It isn’t perfect, but it’s solid. Next I’m going to make a mount for in the rear hatch area to be able to set it down and have it stay in one place back there.

I added some shims to my mount so the grill is level. The swim platform has a slope to it and this way my cobs of  corn don’t roll around.

So, it’s just a standard tapered Springfield mounting bracket (6 screws) and I had to drill new holes into their mounting plate. The bracket overhangs a bit on each side and gets a bit on the way of the grease tray, but manageable.
