Hi everyone,
New to this forum (and boating) and just got my first boat (used 2015 Rinker 186 BR). I was looking to add a few things that my boat doesn't have.
1. Bimini Top- boat didn't come with a Bimini top and with a few young kids, I really need to get one installed. Is there a Rinker model?/ data cut sheets for the size required? With knowing the size is there anyone who's got an after market brand? (recommended aftermarket brand?
2. Has anyone installed a trolling motor? brand? issues you might have run into?
3. I wanted to install a battery switch to prevent any battery power loss when I'm not using it (I live in Canada so when I have it stored this would be the same as disconnecting a lead). Do you recommend this? any issues I should be aware of? what brand switch did you install?

Here's a resource you'll want to get familiar with. They bought most of Rinker's inventory. Might have bimini parts. If not, you'll have to find a local shop to build something.

I can't help you on a trolling motor but I would recommend a 2nd battery and a battery switch.
If you don't have one you'll need to do some wiring mods. You want your bilge pumps to always have power, especially if you wet slip her.
You'll also need things like a dual battery charger and charging isolator to make the most of it.. not necessary but I always like to have a spare battery. I also want them fully charged when plugged in or actively charging while running
