Wont turn over. Battery good, engine cranks, trim works, but no electrical power to anything else.
Hello all! looking for some help if anybody has come across this. we have a 2011 186BR I/O 3.0 liter. after this cold winter if finally uncovered our fun vessel but couldn't get it started. the boat only has 55 hours. and i had the battery checked out a few weeks ago. the puzzeling part is that the trim works fine, the engine turns over, but no electrical power to anything else. i mean no power to anything (radio, nav lights, bilge, blower, etc.)
i'm 99.9% sure i have the cables and other wires hooked up correctly. any suggestions?
thanks friends.

Check your wiring again, you might of left a ground cable off... everybody has done this at one time or another.

Yeah, if battery was checked, probably removed for check, definitely look at cables. Not sure if there would be any separate battery switches that would cause that. For a larger boat, I'd say check your house batteries, but you don't have that. Maybe breakers? Do you have a separate breaker panel?Dream 'Inn III -- 2008 400 Express
