Alpha 1 gimbal bearing maintenance

Is there any one out there who lived the Alpha 1 time period? Where is the best info on maintenance of these?

    You should be able to find good information on sterndrives.com. I have an Alpha on my 04 232 Captiva. I check my drive alignment keep the bearing lubricated and ensure the bellows are in good shape so as to not allow water in.
