  @f15pilot It is helpful to have a buddy when you replace the actuator one guy on the inside one on the outside. its an easy install however. You will need some 3M 5200 to caulk around the wire. Most Home depot's have it in stock.

  took me about 20 mins to replace mine, including sanding.. one thing I did was forget about finding the connection in all the tubing inside and I just snipped the wires at the transom of the boat, stripped them and used some waterproof/shrink wrapped connectors, then put some shrinkwrap around those as well... came out good and took just a few minutes to do the connections.

  I replaced a Lenco actuator on my boat last week...seems to be a trend... The replacement actuator came with the electrical connector disassembled so just had to feed the wire through the transom, then assemble the connector inside the boat and connect it to the matching connector in the engine compartment.
