Port trim tab not working...how to diagnose?

I have the Lenco switch. Pushing port side the LED's don't light up and I don't hear anything from the actuator. Push starboard and it deploys the tab fine. Am I looking at replacing the actuator on the tab itself or anything else to look for?

Check for power at the actuator
that will tell u if it's one the switch side

Same thing happened to me, just replaced it and out was all good, 100 bucks on eBay..

I'd find the plugs and check them for corrosion and tight fit. If they look ok you may want to take @J3ff advice.

The boat will have to come out of the water to do the actuator.

Yeah just want to diagnose if it's something other than the actuator...if it's the actuator ill wait to the off season to fix.

No, I didn't test anything out, was too rushed, just bought a new actuator and installed it, the actual install took less than 30 mins, it actually stopped working last Sept and I just rode out the season without it..
