What's this on dash of 330?

Anyone know what this is on the dash of my new to me 2008 330 EC? It's currently under shrink wrap for the next 6 months so I can't check it out. I don't see it in the 2008 Rinker catalog in the pictures. Is it possibly a mini plug receptacle to plug in an iPod to the sound system?

On your Clarion remote or head unit, cycle thru the sources and one is an AUX. Plug your phone into it and play the music. There probably is one in the cabin as well, which works off the same input on the radio.

On the Clarion head unit, I saw in the direction book that there's an AUX plug-in in the back of the unit. The unit appears to be out of it's cubby, and is sitting on the shelf next to the amp, velcro'd to the shelf. I tried pulling it out when I was on the boat, but the wires seemed short and I didn't want to force it. My plan was to hopefully get it out enough to put a short cable into it so I could plug iPod into it easily from the front. Now if I can't do it that way, I can easily plug it into the dash.

Nice to have options.
