Raw water shut off valve? 342

I nee to cut off the input to my raw water impeller pump, the input hose appears to come from the transom but i didnt see any shut off valve or strainer? Is there either? Am i missing something all together.

Shut off for changing the impeller? Remove hose, use screwdriver to shove in a rag.
