Fuel Dock Spike?

Gas stations around here has been $2.40 - $2.60 but the gas dock's have been $4.00 - $4.20. Of course the gas dock will always be more and we are all non ethanol at the dock which increases it further, but those seem like huge delta's. Do you all see the same?

Gas in general has increased by me, boat isn't in the water yet but just called the marina I go to and its $3.89 for regular. Gas stations I think right now are around $3.11

I've seen at the gas station premium ethanol free around 80c per gallon more so what @McGarnicle sees to me is typical. In the past a dollar more for marine has been the norm and about what I paid when I topped up to head from storage to home port. Can't compare to our boat club price as we are cost plus a tiny margin to members.

I got gas the other day at MacRay.  It was $3.69 for mid-grade with ethanol and $4.39 for mid-grade non-ethanol.  Street gas is around $2.69.

I put some gas in on Sunday, I think it was $4.02 on the water.

Gas was just over $3 at the marina for me, but that is not ethanol free (which is not available around here).  I know down in VA the ethanol free stuff is like a buck more a gallon!!

Just put in 100 gals on Sunday at $3.79. Street price is about 2.79. No ethanol free here but gas is treated. 100 miles on the boat before June is good.

@Liberty44140 you lucky bastid.  Non-ethanol gas?  You are not allowed to complain.  Every marina within 100 miles of me sells gas made with corn syrup.

I am surprised at those stating no ethanol free at marinas. Are they E10 or E15? If E15 then there's laws  being broken. https://www.boatus.com/pressroom/release.asp?id=1372

They're all E10 on the Chesapeake bay (well, except those couple in VA that have ethanol free, but like 3 of them).  I agree with LaRea!  I'd pay that price for ethanol free!  A local marina that I use all the time mentioned or should I say teased us with the thought of offering ethanol free.

Ha - yea I guess your right on that. Actually the only dock I've gone to in the last few years that has ethanol was MacRay that @Stodge mentioned but its nice that they have both options. I stuck with the non ethanol. 108 gal at $4.20 was not fun but as the Admiral says its a part of the deal so forget about it. Ok I'm done complaining

Remember 5 years ago? I do - trip to NY and 91 ethanol free at $5.05. That’s where $1400 went...

Our club used used to have it apparently till it spiked back then and went to regular but I asked before last season to get it back. Lower price, good for my boat and the law. Backed by the above link on our member section of the web site for those not liking the higher price.

I take it back.  Coles Point Marina has 87 E0 for $3.80, and it's only 85 miles from here.

Pump (car) gas at $2.80 with ethanol.

Oil and gas have dropped way down wholesale wise in the last few days. You will see a 20 cent drop at the pump soon

Place I go is self service but I'll tip them 5 bucks if they come out to grab lines or push off when leaving
