Shrunk canvas??

Just tried to put up my cabin enclosure for the first time this year. Every snap on both sides and across the windshield are all short an inch. Does canvas shrink and is there any fix?

Not a proper solution but snap extenders are available.

Wait till its warm and the sun is out, first time I went to do mine it was the same thing...

Sometimes a hair dryer will help warm it up. Or just wait for sunshine.

same problem here...mine is about 3 years old and last time I tried to put it up I had to undo some of the brackets to get it to go on....only used it a few times and was really disappointed!

It will stretch back out.

Wet it and it's easier to install as it will stretch. Not soaked though or else it's heavy.

Yes, it does shrink ... it's a pain.  That's why I stopped taking mine off for winterization. Wonder if a heat gun would help.

That would be a great problem to have.  Buy a 26' boat end up with a 36' boat after 10 years ...

16,,18,,23,,27,,34 little more then ten years. Good thing my canvas still fits go figure. After all this time i wish the budget would get smaller.

Mine shrunk up crazy when I took it off for summer and reinstalled for winter.  I bought zipper extenders from this site

They have two or three lengths and you cut them to fit.  I think I will get at least 2 or 3 more years and will look good getting there.  You need to know whether you have 8 or 10 teeth per inch zippers.  I recall there are oval or round holes on the zipper pulls that tell you which.  She updated the website with that information too.  So pretty easy to order.
