270 Port Side Backrest Storage

@rasbury posted about a storage bin he found on his 270 he didn’t know about. Today I was talking to my co-worker who owns a 2003 270 and asked him if he knew about the storage behind the port side backrest. He told me that the backrest doesn’t move and nothing is behind it. Well, we went to his boat to work on some issues he had. I started to pull on the back rest then gave it a good yank, sure enough it was there with some rope in it! My co-worker couldn’t believe he didn’t know about it!!!

mine is just held on by a couple buttons. does not stay up very well

Yes, just a couple of snaps....and there is a strap that will come out of the top....sweet find!

The bottom seat comes up also, Velcro...
