Is my boat supposed to have a 17p prop and should I be able to turn 6000 rpms or is there a tach issue

I'd be worried spinning 6000 Rpm's might wana see how accurate that tach is

Is there any way I can check if its accurate I can reach 36mph but thsts at 6000rpm
