Engine Alarm Constant

So I am getting a constant low tone beep engine alarm about 1/2 hour after running the boat. I have twin mercruiser 4.3 litre engines. There is no reduction in power with alarm and all gauges read normal. The alarm almost sounds very weak and sounds like it wants to cancel itself. In other words, it is not a regular loud constant alarm it is a low tone constant alarm that is intermittent when it sounds. Any ideas?

Does the alarm stop when you come down to idle speed?  Constant alarm is oil, gear lube, low coolant pressure or overheat.  You said your oil and temp gauges read normal ... have you checked your gear lube reservoirs?  When you check the levels, also make sure the floats aren't stuck.

C02 is where I was going. I don't think engine alarm has a variable tone! Depth gauge?
