Greetings All;
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July.
I have a 2004 FV 270 and was wondering where the overflow vent is located? When I filled up for the first time (newly purchased) I could not tell the guy on the fuel dock where to look
THANKS

If you look down the spout you will see a little filter at the top of the gas fill, recessed back maybe 2 inches. I had perpetual fill issues with my boat where the pump would click off. Sometimes its the vent that can get clogged or have fuel stuck in it. You can blow it out with compressed air. Just make sure you blow from the tank side out, as to not blow junk back into your tank.
The more prevalent issue, at least on my old 360, was the angle at which the fuel fill hose goes to the tank. If the pitch is not steep enough, which mine weren't, or there are low points in the line due to drooping, you will continually have issues with filling. I never got around to it before i sold the boat, but it was on my list to cut the fuel fill line shorter to take up any slack and get rid of the problem of fuel backing up in the hose, and making me sit at the fuel dock for 30 minutes just to fill up.....
