Greasing gimbal and coupler

Two questions....
My gimbal is the older style with a zert...so when you start pumping grease that will fill that area up and then start coming out the face of the bearing...but not getting to the rest of it? Should the motor be rotated a few times while greasing to get distribution?
Likewise when you look at the coupler it has two fittings, and you really don't have anything there that moves to grease,,? U joint shaft goes into the coupler and they both turn together so why the need for grease?

There's one on the gimbel housing down at 5 O'clock position for the gimbal bearing
I have a couple alpha drivers that have one at the pins right where the sending units are.
And yes the grass did grow back.
