    I would pay triple just to not have a Jasper engine in my boat.

    That's the part number from the new Quicksilver page. Appears to be the same as the re-man engine though, huh?

    I think the story said the remans were going away because of supply of available blocks so they went this way. Makes sense  it might be the same part number maybe?

    The price is definitely about $4k higher than last time I checked.

    Good thing you don’t have to swap in a diesel, the last 5.9 Cummins came in just under 20k.
