Need help replacing toilet seal

VacuFlush started losing pressure this weekend.  Toilet bowl would not hold water, then it would suck air.  What I've learned here is I need to replace toilet bowl seal.  Found this YouTube video that makes job look very doable.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FE7HVAiIf4k 

My question is, how do I know what model toilet I have so I order the correct seal kit?  I see no model listed on toilet, and nothing in my Rinker bag of manuals that came with boat.

They sell a cleaning/lube kit for the ball seal. You place a tongue depressor type item in there then close the ball and run it all around to clean it. Then you do the same with lube ....I would try that first.

I can't say I've tried the lube, but for $20, and about a half hour I just replace the seals every 2-3 years and be done with it.  Not real fun playing around in that area.

Think I'll order the seals.  It appears easy enough to get in there, so if I end up needing the white part too, I can always get that later.  Since seals won't come before I get to the boat next, I'll try that cleaning/lube trick 1st.

Anyway, I feel much better about this than I did last weekend.  Thanks guys.

no problem.  & it is basically the main clamp that goes around the center that you have to loosen.  Also note that the little plastic box on the back, just pushes in.  That is your main water flow into the head.  Make sure to shut water off before pulling.

@Dream_Inn, regarding that little plastic box, from the photo, it appears tight against the back wall. I take it I would have to remove the top bowl a bit to remove the box, then install it back on bowl before actually setting bowl on base?

Yes, yours is closer to wall than mine, although it may turn a little and slip off before bowl removal anyhow.  I had a friend that had that slip off and made a nice water mess in the head.

Seals actually arrived before heading out to the boat.  I tried silicone lube on the seal 1st.  The way the half-ball rotates, you can only lube half the seal so didn't look too promising.  But it stopped the leak.  Until Sunday night.  So Monday I tore it apart and did the seal replacement.  Very doable job.  And seems to be working.
