EVA foam project (fast, easy,and cheap)

Yes I used a thick clear plastic painters tarp from Home Depot to make a template and an exacting knife.

I did the same thing on my 232.  Bought my material off of Ebay for something like $75 bucks.  Enough to do my swim platform that is 45" deep, and some leftover for the steps to the bow.  
I cut mine with a razor knife, and did all the finishing up with a Dremel to clean it up nice.  My cheap stuff, is EVERY bit as nice as my buddy's Seadeck stuff he paid hundreds for.

Not sure which person you were asking, but mine is a perfect match still.  The lighting from the camera, I guess makes it look different?

Looks good, really like it in the head and swim platform. I will be in touch in the next month or two on the swim platform raising. I still need to post the gas tank install pictures too.

Not sure how the original poster did his, but I made templates for mine.  I cut them out with sharp scissors, then I used a Dremel to clean it up nicely, on any edge that didn't cut perfectly with scissors.  It was easy. 
The scariest part, was the initial peel-n-stick lol.
