Ice Machine

I own a 2005 Rinker 342 Crusier. Install is a U-Line Ice maker. The ice maker was removed and now the unit (freezer) don't work. Before removing the ice maker unit, the unit would get cold and I could feel the compressor running. Did the wiring connected to the ice maker caused the intire unit to become nonp[erational? If so, how can I rewire so the unit work without the ice maker? Help-Easybee

hmmm...I was just on a 2005 342 this weekend that is having this problem.  You don't keep the boat in Deale, MD...do you?  :)

The unit plugs in to an extension cord behind the unit. Is the unit plugged back in to that cord? I would try running an extension cord to another outlet that you know works to be sure that its not a power delivery issue.

If you pull the trash can you can see the plug. I wouldn't think the ice maker effects the freezer. Don't for get the toogle switch on the front.
