    You salt water guys have it rough on leaf springs.  Being 4.5 hrs from any salt sucks other than the fact that our springs, manifolds and risers can easily live to 20 years or longer.  I don't advise pushing that long but it's not uncommon in our lakes.

    I'm mostly fresh and closed cooling- so I just did my risers and don't have to worry about the manifolds...trailer is who knows how old....
