Nautilus Smart Tabs on a 212 Capitiva Bow RIder

All

I am looking for those that installed the Nautilus Smart Tabs on a 212 Captiva.

If you could post pics, that would be awesome.

Also which model did you use the SX9510-80 (9.5 x 10")   or the SX10512-90 (10.5 x 12") - obviously one is bigger than the other and with the required mounting location closer to centerline, I want to make sure that I am getting a tried an true size that won't interfere with the drive.

Thanks

I think the rule of thumb is install as big as you can fit.  I have made a mock up out of painters tape and cardboard before to check for interference.

Also have you priced adjustable trim tabs?  Far superior to smart tabs. You cant beat Bennett trim tabs customer service.

The smart tabs work great. I have them on a 232 and they greatly improved the boat.

Here is a picture my my smart tabs. Unfortunately, I forget what size these are. They were the recommended size from the manufacturer. There is really minimal space on the 212 for installation so they are really far inboard. They still seem to work and have improved the planing a fair amount and reduced the speed at which you can stay on plane a few MPH (which was my major objective).
