Fuel system warning

I have a 2012 31EC vessel view. Recently a warning message has appeared that says “fuel system warning”
i took in to have serviced thinking it might be fuel/water separator or something. Dealer said he put computer on it and it could be one of 10 things and they’d need more time to figure out! I have experienced an occasional temporary loss of RPM on port engine and only occasionally. Any one have any ideas?

When were the fuel filters last changed?

At the maintenance when they checked the fuel system warning. I’m wondering if it might be the emissions sensors.

Ok, after boating this weekend, the port OBD light went on and then off, and then the fuel warning also went off. I understand this is some sort of emission light and I was told it was only needed in CA..... anyone have knowledge of this issue?
