290ec faria gauges too smartcraft

does any one know what would be needed to change my faria gauges too smartcraft , my engine is smartcraft 6.2 2009

@jme097 had a post doing just this on his 280EC.

Yeah, what I did was I changed my Faria 4 in 1 gauge to a smart craft (I think SC2000) and plugged that right in, harness connector at the back.  Then the rest of the gauges are easy, you plug into the back of the SC2000 and pigtail connect the one to the next to the next.

Yes I did do this. I replaced all of my gauges with the Smartcraft gauges and the MercMonitor gauge as well.

Ah now you reminded me ... the SC2000 was the LED screen gauge, and then I pig tailed the 4 in 1 smartcraft gauge to that.

I have a 2009 and put in the Smartcraft on my 280 EC and it was best thing that I ever did about two years ago.  Wiring harness was already there in the dash panel.

What model did you install? Was it just a gauge or a Vessel View unit?

On my 2007 280 I dumped all the Faria gauges and went to a MercMonitor gauge and the SC100 link gauges. I think it was my favorite upgrade I did. Reliable information is awesome
