Lack of horsepower

While on a trip home I could not get my starboard motor above 3000rpm while the Port worked just fine. I stopped and reved it up out of gear no problem but as soon as I tried to get up and go 3000 was the max I could get. On the way to our destination we had no issues.

I'd start with the basics. Fuel filters, plugs, plug wires. Could be ethanol issues plugging it up.

could be something wrapped around propeller shaft...heavy fishing line, makes it harder to spin prop...

Tried running some fuel treatment with no luck yet. Hopefully it's just that simple will keep at it. Pulled the boat and nothing around the prop
