Port motor cursed

Well it seems that way. Last week the shifter cable for the port outdrive failed leaving the drive in forward. Over the weekend the starter switch failed. It spins, no spring, no stop. Now when I go to start port I get a soft click the first 5 or 6 times I turn the key, then it will catch. Most likely the slave solenoid. I think port is jealous of the new starboard motor.
Shifter and starter switch have been repaired. Slave solenoid is on order.

Comes in color of your choice
If you have a guy who can match gelcoat that well on hand you can probably go a little faster than those of us who dont.
The slave solenoid was the problem with the starting on the port engine. Easy/cheap fix.
Let's see if I can get to haul-out (Oct 18th) without any more repairs.
