Magnum Dyno-Boost Boat Performance chip

I was thinking about putting the Dyno Performance Chip in my 2003 232 Rinker MPI 350 mag.  Will that help my performance? 
Could this damage my motor if installed. Will it raise my rpm on the engine? If anyone has any information on this please let me know thank you.

    In general, chipping an engine will increase power by operating closer to the engine's limits.  Does Dyno Performance publish details about their programming?
