Interesting video. Love to see how it is on larger cruiser boats as well (sounds like it works well on all styles). Let me try it out for a day & if it is that much better, I'd buy them immediately.
Promising. Let's see how they perform if and when they start reaching the recreational fleet.
I wouldn't be surprised if they license the design to one of the big manufacturers. Not everybody would want to gear up for mass production at that scale.
BoatTest.com just did an article on this. Seems as if they are going to start offering to the recreational market. Very impressive test results/numbers. BoatTest testers were very rigorous and thorough.
@Stodge you're not late, you probably just missed it the first time around. I find they quite often repost their stories and reviews. I remember seeing it a few months ago and the I got it again today too.
Obviously cost is a factor with these. Apparently they've found a way to cast them in stainless rather than start with a huge chunk of stainless and a 5 axis CNC machine. Cheaper but not yet known by how much. https://boattest.com/article/sharrow-propellers-be-mass-produced
It would nice nice to see a sided by side comparison of this and the Hill Marine props on the same boats. Probably won't happen though and it will be forever before someone gets to really try these Sharrow props.
And you'd have to look at the cost versus performance gain. The Hill's aren't cheap but even with mass production if the Sharrow's are a lot more.....will it matter to the average boater?
They are working on one for a dual prop setup but at this price i would never be able to justify it. Heck i thought the Hill Marine props were expensive.
I love seeing technical advancements like this. Everything new starts off expensive, until they can get into mass production ... but hopefully not more than the first three boats Willhound owned!! LOL!

Hope the product makes it to market. Hopefully a duoprop design in the works too.
Can't wait to see, if these props become available in a dual prop setup like the Bravo3!

Starting at $9,000 for stainless 😳. We would be spending over $30K for Twin Bravo 3’s!!
