390 Mid-Berth Beds

In pictures of 390's for sale I see two twin beds with a nightstand in between.  Can the nightstand be moved out of the way and slide the beds together?

Yes, I could do a mod to get a queen bed.  I'm wondering if they can be converted back and forth without too much trouble.

Yes, the center nightstand covers a circular access to the bilge.  It could be converted, but not easily and would not want to do it back and forth.  I have the same twin beds in my 400.  I cut a piece of plywood to fit between the two and once in a great while (when I have nephews come) I'll put that piece in and some foam over it.  Makes a nice big bed for the kids.

There is also an access area under each bed as well.  Again, it could be done, but would really take some thinking to make it easily changeable.

I rebuilt the bedframe for a full mattress and moved the middle end table to the back.
The bed covers the accesses so you can still get to them.
Then I had a cabinet built for the side since there are no large lockers on the boat
