Tri Color Courtesy lights

Does ITC make Tri-Color courtesy lights? 2 of mine are white and the rest are blue. Not sure if the previous owner did this on purpose or they need to be synced. If they do, please post a link or part number. Thank you!

Without the chrome cover, just a round light with white.

I found these, I think there’re little bigger than what I have installed now. Will have to drill the holes a little bigger if I go with them.

The only problem with these lights is that you have to wire in a controller and run their “controller cable” to each new light you install. Look at the cable connections on the light:

@diggin2day1 , it says you can use the controller for color changing, dimming or strobe (4 wire installation) or no controller (2 wire installation) and use an on off switch for color changing. I’m not 100% sure the plugs are needed, I’m going to call and ask if I decide to move forward with them.

• Use with optional RGB Controller to remotely change colors, fade, strobe. (4-wire connection)
• Connect without RGB Controller and select from Red, Green, White or Blue color. (2-wire connection)

I think the key word is “or”.... most likely going to be a solid color(your choice) with the 2-wire connection. Guessing that the controller uses a common ground on the LED and provides +12v to the color you choose via remote.

Yea, you might be right. It should probably say “and” instead of “or”. I still like the lights though, it’ $50 for the controller but you have to use a wireless remote, not sure if I like that. Plus I have 5 lights, the controller only has 4 connections.

I contacted Apex and they are saying you need to use this controller to use your in dash on/off switch to cycle through the colors.

Still looks like you would have to run (4) wires to each LED though?

@diggin2day1 , this is what they wrote to me when I asked how to wire up 5 lights to the controller.

They look like awesome LEDs, but running (5) wires to each light location is a nightmare !!

I ended up getting these courtesy lights from Pactrade Marine. There’re white and give off plenty of light. I like the visor on them, the other lights that were installed were blinding and gave off too much light at eye level.
