Long Island Boating Accident

It boggles my mind how someone can let this happen. Only reason I can see is if there was a medical emergency with the captain and his passengers didn’t know what to do with the controls. My last pic, the red dot on the shoreline is where it happened.

Well the report just came in...... Must've been extremely drunk to not see a bulkhead and shore lights.

When I was a senior in high school, a friend wanted me to go with a group of people to Palisades Park for Senior Skip Day. I asked who was driving. When I learned who it was I said, "No thanks. I'll just stay in classes today." I had ridden with this idiot on one occasion and I swore I would never get in a car with him again. Car going too fast, left the road, flipped to its side and smashed into a tree 10 feet off the ground, crushing the roof. Best friend killed. 2 other good friends seriously injured, one having to spend 3 months in the hospital. Driver walked away with out a scratch. I wish every one could recognize the stupidity of so called friends and stay well clear if they value life.
