remote oil filter hoses

mag 350 mpi.  I need to replace the remote oil hoses, but looking to avoid the Merc versions....mainly because of cost.

I'm a bit puzzled about how to connect different lines...the Merc versions are a flared fitting.

I'd like to go with some braided lines.

    You can remove the adapters and bring everything to a hydraulic hose shop. I’m sure they can custom make hoses for you cheap.

    Or just bring the hoses and they can replicate using any hose you want.

    Yeah, I had a high pressure power steering hose blow on a Volvo once and knew it would cost a fortune at the dealership, so I took it to a local hydraulic hose shop and they fabricated it while I waited, and at a fraction of the cost! Support your local businesses!!
