All this talk about the raw water pumps has me thinking about the circulating pump. Is there a time when we should replace them?? Especially for raw water cooled?

Agreed with Greg.  On my old Volvo 5.7, the circ pump started to leak around the bearing as the casting had rusted away.  I actually enjoyed replacing it, somehow it was one of the more enjoyable boat repairs I did and shockingly under $100 (?!).

Mine is fresh water so just like a car only has coolant...I'm really glad now I held out for that feature...

Yea, something I might add to both engines. I wanted fresh water cooled but couldn’t pass up the deal I got on my 330.
