Wondering if anyone would know the approx height of an 01 310 that is sitting on a custom trailer. Thanks (i know it will vary depending on the trailer but looking for ballpark)

You said custom trailer so I take that as meaning regularly trailered behind your tow vehicle...With that said I'm pretty sure my 270 is 12' 11" to the TV antenna on the arch sitting on our tri-axle. About 6" short of being too tall to trailer. I also missed fitting under my shop door header by only 5" grrr. (pic) Needing a trailerable boat keeps my 3-foot-itis in check.....but it's a tricky affliction to be totally cured from.

You could measure up to the trailer fender, allow for compression, then measure a 310 from the chine to the highest fitting to. (see 2nd pic) A 310 with an arch may be a problem as a trailerable boat without using a commercial low-boy trailer. Width restrictions in fl require a simple $20 annual permit for anything over 8'6" and I forget the max beam w/o needing an escort but each state is different.

(EDIT) Our $20 annual permit gets us up to 13'6" max ht, 12' max wd in Fl w/o escort car. Time of day for movement is restricted and I understand the rules are strictly enforced in the Fl Keys. Most 270 owners don't bother but anything bigger probably should. Aside from the fact that an insurance claim may become a mess if you're not properly permitted.

    Good luck, Mike

    ALLLLLmost fits...

@seahare, i have on 08 320 that I trailer. I have a Fastload 18,000 # capacity triple axle trailer and my 320 is 12'11" tall with the radar down. Tow width is 11'4" so i do have to get permits when towing. Legal tow height is 13'6" which does not require a permit - its the width that requires the permit. The 320/312/ and the older 310 models were essentially the same hull design. Hope that helps!

My 3-foot-itis just went to 5 thanks to frodo :D . Great pics. Trailer boat Boss.

Yeah that header being a tad low was a disapointment but its an 18" steel Ibeam......so itll take a torch if I find a sweet 320 B-)

Thanks Everyone!! The trailer im hoping to use is a buddys OEM Trailmaster for his rinker 340.. im hoping my 310 will fit properly on it. I just wanted to stay away from the 13'6" magic number, which it sounds like i will be ok..

Great pics frodo. I am purchasing a similar boat within the next month, and I will be trailering it from Barrie Ontario to Kamloops BC. Would guess it will be about 4000kms. Your Ford tows the 320 with no troubles? I have a 2013 Ram 2500 with the cummins that I am going to use. My main concern was the height, but if you are at 12'11",I think I will be under 13'6" with my trailer. Hopefully we get an early spring!
