Outdrive Trim Cylinder Bushings and Spacers

While checking for side to side play in my drives with the new tie bar, I also checked up and down. I lifted with one hand on the skeg and the other on the trim cylinder mounting point by the transom. There was a bunch of play at the rubber bushings. This was starboard side. Port side seemed like it had a tiny bit of play at the plastic trim limit spacer. These are definitely wear items that often get overlooked. New bushings and spacers are on order. A dishonest shop can tell you it’s your steering pin if you don’t know to look there. Something to keep in mind when looking things over.
