A/C Problem

When I turn the power on to the A/C on my  2013 Rinker 290 the Passport I/O shows the three '888' the goes directly to the hours run 'hr 01 437'. After doing this everything on the Passport turns off and it does not respond to any command. I have tried to enter programing mode with no luck and have tried a hard reset (holding all the buttons and switching the power on) and get a '1p' code and back to unresponsive.

Have you killed the main power to the AC unit?

Yes shut off everything (breaker for AC, Main breaker and breaker at the shorepower hookup).

Ok its either the stat or the board.

I'd check the cable that plugs into both the stat and the board.  It should be like a network cable, or large phone cable.  Unplug and re-plug and make sure both ends are seated well.

I had to replace my state and board a couple years ago to the tune of $500.
